Jane used this quote in one of her sermons back in April or May (if I remember right), and I immediately looked it up because it hits me where I live. I struggle to remember, to believe that joy is more real than sadness, that love is more real than hate, that life is more real than death. I believe, but I struggle to believe.
And here Gide reminds me to struggle harder.
