Robert and I had seen it together and rolled our eyes at it, but I bet he probably knows some people who would go for it who are in tech and business. Though, some guys in tech really don't fit into macho masculinity and are more "nerdy." I can see one of Robert's colleagues in particular who this commercial would probably work on because he's insecure about not really fitting into that and seems pretty obsessive about being stereotypically masculine. Robert told me he actually has a goal in every social situation to be the "alpha male," and reads books on how to do so. I think there are some people it works for.
